Description

Title: Assistant Café Manager

Department: Retail

Reports to: Café Manager

Status: Exempt

Responsibilities

• Ensure positive financial results in accordance with budget.
• Create and maintain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement following SOPs and processes.
• Train and develop co-workers to ensure high performance.
• Delegate responsibilities using Café Functional Architecture Model.
• Guarantee the café’s coffee, food, and administrative functions provide a remarkable customer experience aligned with Colectivo’s standards.
• Lead by example with a positive and inviting attitude.
• Participate in long-term strategic planning of the café.

Qualifications

• College degree in a business-related field or at least two years of management or supervisory experience.

Requirements

• Proficiency in POS and computer programs.
• Basic mathematics skills for business operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work at different café locations within the market as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, reach, bend, and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Minimum of 40 hours/week.
