Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is offering a two-week Winternship in New York City to join our Buyer Intern program.

You will work with experienced buying teams in a hands-on setting, gaining exposure to Open-to-Buy, regional merchandise analysis, and market visits, while learning our merchandising systems and warehouse workflows. You should be a college student graduating between December 2026 and May 2027, available to work Monday–Friday in-person during normal business hours, with an interest in numbers,

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student with expected graduation in 2026–2027.
• Demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Interest in retail and numbers and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Observe the administrative and operational functions supporting a designated Buyer.
• Analyze and interpret key business issues from regional reports and stock data.
• Attend market appointments and competitive shopping trips.
• Learn merchandising systems and warehouse processes.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through market insights.
