Responsibilities
  1. Support the achievement of nursing center business excellence goals as an Assistant Business Office Manager, overseeing census, billing, accounts receivable, Medicaid applications, and other related functions.
  2. Report to the Business Office Manager and receive training and support from the Revenue Cycle Manager.
  3. Interact with the Administrator, nursing staff, leadership, Centralized Billing Office, families, attorneys, and external agencies.
  4. Manage patient/resident trust funds and confidential files in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  5. Meet with patients/residents upon admission and discharge to explain financial obligations.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. At least two years of experience in long-term care billing and collections is preferred.
  3. Additional coursework in accounting or finance is recommended.

Posted Salary Range

USD $17.00 - USD $24.00 per hour
