Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC in Houston seeks an Assistant Business Controller to drive cost accounting, inventory analysis, and master data governance. You will partner with operations and engineering to optimize costing and reporting, report on variances, and support closing activities.

The role requires ERP/SAP fluency, strong SQL/Crystal Reports skills, and a bachelor’s degree in information systems, CS, or accounting, with at least five years in finance or systems analysis.

Qualifications

• Solid cost accounting fundamentals and ERP experience.
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP or ERP tools.
• Strong querying and reporting skills using SQL/Crystal Reports.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed cost accounting incl. product costing and allocations.
• Manage inventory activities, valuation, and controls.
• Govern master data including material masters and GL accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing with variance analyses.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards on cost and inventory.
