TYLin is a globally recognized, full-service infrastructure consulting firm supporting bridge and civil engineering projects. This internship offers hands-on experience with quantity take-offs, project monitoring, scheduling, computer modeling, progress reporting, and site inspections in Tampa.

You will collaborate with engineers, drafters, and clients while developing knowledge of codes and standards. Eligible candidates are current 3rd/4th year undergrad or graduate Civil Engineering students

Qualifications

  • Current 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or graduate Civil Engineering student.
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and engineering software preferred.
  • CAD/engineering software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

This opportunity allows you to gain hands-on experience supporting bridge and civil engineering projects through quantity take-offs, project monitoring, scheduling, computer modeling, progress reporting, and site inspections. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and other project deliverables while developing your knowledge of applicable codes and standards. You will also collaborate with engineers, drafters, clients, and support staff in a dynamic team environment. We are seeking organized, motivated, and detail-oriented candidates who demonstrate strong communication, time management, teamwork, integrity, and a passion for continuous learning. Applicants should be current third- or fourth-year undergraduate students or graduate students enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering program.

Your Education and Experience
  • Requires current 3rd or 4th year standing as an undergraduate, or a Graduate student standing, in an accredited Civil Engineering program. BS degree preferred.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software, such as SAP 2000, CSI Bridge, etc., is preferred.
  • AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience is preferred #LI-DNP
