Job summary

Bank of Colorado is seeking a Branch Supervisor to support daily operations, ensure policy compliance, and deliver superior customer service. You will advise customers on a full range of bank services, assist with opening accounts, and perform teller functions as needed.

The role involves supervising staff, scheduling, conducting performance reviews, and providing training to meet branch goals and budgets. A strong knowledge of banking products and compliance is required.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–3 years banking experience preferred.
  • Ability to supervise branch staff and manage budgets.
  • Knowledge of bank policies, deposit products, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist operations and ensure adherence to bank policies.
  • Advise customers on bank services, open accounts, and perform teller duties.
  • Supervise staff, assign work, conduct performance reviews, and train employees.
  • Promote bank services and participate in community activities.
  • Handle customer service tasks: phone inquiries, closing accounts, order checks.
  • Ensure branch compliance with policies; review reports and NSFs.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Maintain regular attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

  • GENERAL SUMMARY**:
  • SCHEDULE: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. Rotating Saturday hours at the Harmony location in Fort Collins from 9am -12pm.
  • COMPENSATION: Hourly $24 - $29
  • RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:
  • Assists Operations, including making sure bank policy and procedures are followed.
  • May perform personal banking duties including advising customers of all bank services, opening new accounts, and teller functions.
  • Assists with supervising employees to meet branch goals including obtaining fee include and meeting budget. This is accomplished by assigning work, taking actions to ensure quality work for customers, scheduling, conducting performance reviews, recommending salary actions, and providing training for staff.
  • Promotes bank services. Participates in various professional and personal activities within the community.
  • Performs customer service related duties such as answering telephone inquiries, closing accounts, ordering checks and ensuring appropriate levels of customer service.
  • Assists with compliance of branch with bank policies and guidelines.
  • Review reports, audit board and NSFs.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs any other duties/projects as assigned.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES**:
  • Full knowledge of banking products offered, taking a personal initiative to stay updated on any changes. Basic knowledge of all banking regulations applicable to the job function and of all bank policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge and expertise in all deposit account products and services.
  • Knowledge of bank operations.
  • Knowledge and work experience that demonstrates effective abilities to supervise the department.
  • Skill in communicating with clients and co-workers in courteous and professional manner.
  • Skill in operating computer terminals and printers, back counter capture machine, coin machine and copier
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to train employees.
  • Ability to ensure that appropriate efficiency, accuracy, and customer service is provided to customers to ensure that the bank's goals of meeting the customers needs is being met.
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to function as a team player.
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Prefer 2-3 years related banking experience.
