Modern Builders Supply is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Lansing to support daily branch operations, assist with dispatch, inventory, and payroll, and lead customer service efforts. This hands-on role builds leadership path toward managing the branch and coordinating with corporate initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years in a customer service environment with progressive responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with branch operations including dispatching, vehicle maintenance, inventory management, and payroll bookkeeping.
• Lead the customer service team by example and maintain high service standards.
• Act as a payroll backup to the corporate office when needed.
• Step in to lead the team in the Branch Manager's absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
