Job summary

Fairwinds-Credit-Union in Downtown Orlando is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead a coaching-focused team, drive service and lending goals, and open new accounts for both new and existing members. You will guide members through FAIRWINDS products, support cross-selling, and deepen member relationships.

You will act as a loan officer, manage staff, and partner with the Branch Manager to implement strategic branch initiatives while adhering to compliance and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of high performance in a member-facing and/or leadership role.
• Excellent coaching and feedback skills to develop others.
• Strong knowledge of FAIRWINDS products, services, systems, and lending procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support key operational areas of the branch, including staffing, scheduling, training, and evaluations.
• Serve as loan officer and interviewer, processing applications and disbursing funds.
• Open new accounts and guide members on FAIRWINDS products and services.

Your Role in Our Mission:

Foster a positive, coaching-focused environment to develop your team and ensure service, lending, and product penetration goals (such as membership and services per household) are consistently met.

Serve as a loan officer and interviewer, processing applications and disbursing funds while educating members on lending solutions tailored to their needs.

Open new accounts and provide guidance on FAIRWINDS products and services to both new and existing members, ensuring a comprehensive, one-stop experience.

Support team members in delivering effective cross-selling and relationship-building strategies that increase member engagement and deepen financial partnerships.

Address member concerns with professionalism and care, resolving issues quickly while protecting the member relationship.

Assist in strategic branch planning, including the development of business lending strategies and initiatives to grow member relationships.

Lead or support key operational areas of the branch, including staffing, hiring, scheduling, training, and conducting performance evaluations.

Collaborate with the Branch Manager to meet or exceed branch performance goals and uphold all compliance and operational standards.
