Job description

Role:Assist the branch manager in operations of a small to medium sized, credit union facility, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, service, and growth plans. Has established lending authority. Provides Quality Member Service by leading and equipping branch staff to accomplish their assigned job duties.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Corresponds with or interviews loan applicants; prepares necessary documents for approval and processes approved loan documents for disbursement/filing, ensuring comply with Credit Union polices and legal requirements within approved lending limits. Reviews loans for proper insurance on collateral, taking action to insure uninsured collateral.Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answering questions about products and services and resolving concerns that are within their authority to resolve. Refers concerns that are beyond their authority to the Branch Manager. Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members. Assists the Branch Manager by providing supervision in his or her absence including submitting required reports and check approval and assisting with opening and closing the branch. Assist the Branch Manager in providing guidance to branch staff.
