Job summary

Envista Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Topeka, KS. The role focuses on directing and scheduling resources to meet paying and receiving needs while promoting a service and sales environment.

Qualifications

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• Two-year college degree or (2) certification/licensing or (3) vendor training or (4) apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and monitoring daily activities of the branch to ensure staff deliver member service at the level we promise.
• Work closely with supervisor to identify performance problems and take corrective action.
• Monitor branch activities for policy, regulations and internal controls; resolve any compliance issues.
• Support lending functions including interviewing, processing and disbursal of loans.
• Oversee ordering of cash for the branch and manage vault cash.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you'll do:

• Assist in the hiring, training, scheduling and in monitoring daily activities of the branch to ensure the staff is providing member service to the level "we promise" to our members. Ensure teller staff is motivated and effective at selling credit union products and services.

Works closely with supervisor in identifying performance problems and taking action to correct.

Monitor branch activities for compliance with established policy, regulations and internal controls. Take action to resolve any out of compliance issues.

Support all lending functions as necessary including interviewing, processing and disbursal of loans.

Oversee ordering of cash for the branch and managing the vault cash.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
