Responsibilities

  • Support daily branch operations while promoting efficiency, accuracy, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence.
  • Foster a customer-focused culture centered on relationship building, responsiveness, and service excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal controls, audit standards, and bank policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deepen customer relationships by identifying financial needs, making referrals, and partnering with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Participate in business development efforts through community involvement, networking, relationship building, and local market engagement.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, training, and development for branch associates, including onboarding, performance feedback, and career development support.
  • Maintain flexibility to work from and travel to other branch locations to support staffing needs.
  • Encourage and support associate participation in referral generation, business development activities, and community engagement opportunities.
  • Support branch growth through customer acquisition, relationship expansion, referrals, and achievement of branch goals.
  • Serve as a leadership resource and assume operational and supervisory responsibilities as needed.
  • Assist with branch administrative responsibilities, including scheduling, timecard review, operational reporting, and workflow coordination.
  • Support audits, operational reviews, and compliance examinations while maintaining strong audit performance.

Position Purpose:LCNB National Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support daily branch operations, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and contribute to the achievement of branch goals. This role partners closely with the Branch Manager/Officer and Regional Retail Manager to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, associate development, and strong customer relationships. The Assistant Branch Manager supports business growth through customer engagement, referrals, community involvement, and collaboration with internal business partners while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence. As part of LCNB's leadership succession strategy, this position provides a valuable development opportunity for associates interested in advancing to future Branch Manager/Officer roles. The Assistant Branch Manager gains hands-on leadership experience in branch operations, associate coaching, business development, and branch management while supporting branch performance and growth. This position requires a broad knowledge of bank products, services, and operations and applies that knowledge to ensure activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and bank policies.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Support daily branch operations while promoting efficiency, accuracy, exceptional customer service, and operational excellence.

    • Treasury Management
    • Investment & Wealth Management Services

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, training, and development for branch associates, including onboarding, performance feedback, and career development support.
  • Maintain flexibility to work from and travel to other branch locations to support staffing needs, gain diverse operational experience, and contribute to a consistent customer and associate experience across the region.
  • Encourage and support associate participation in referral generation, business development activities, and community engagement opportunities.
  • Support branch growth through customer acquisition, relationship expansion, referrals, and achievement of branch goals.
  • Serve as a leadership resource and assume operational and supervisory responsibilities as needed.
  • Assist with branch administrative responsibilities, including scheduling, timecard review, operational reporting, and workflow coordination.

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

  • 2+ years of retail banking experience
  • Previous experience serving as a lead, supervisory, mentoring or developmental leadership capacity preferred
  • Demonstrated interest in leadership growth and career progression
  • Ohio Notary Public (or the ability to obtain commission within first three months of employment)
  • NMLS (obtained or transferred within 45 days)
