POSITION SUMMARY

This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who likes working with customers to help recommend products and services that meet their needs, and is driven by results and enjoys selling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in managing the daily routine of the Universal Bankers and Tellers.

Assist managing the customer service level of the Universal Bankers and Tellers. Extraordinary customer service will be required of each employee at all times.

Perform all functions of the bank such as paying and receiving teller transactions, opening new accounts, making referrals of BancFirst products and all other Universal Banker duties.

Assist in counseling and disciplinary action of branch personnel.

Be a leading sales coach within the branch with the goal to increase product knowledge and sales production.

Responsible for leading weekly operational meetings with all employees.

Responsible for performing audits, as they relate to federal, state, and bank policies, procedures and regulations including all cash audits, quarterly negotiable audits and maintaining branch audit books. Must adhere and practice strong internal control procedures at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of sales tools and presentation.

Ability to motivate staff and assist in maintaining goals.

Knowledge of daily bank operations, including security issues.

Knowledge of federal, state, and bank policy, procedure and regulations.

Outstanding listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient in opening new accounts, servicing accounts, and working in a teller position.

Interact with other offices and departments for accurate resolutions to problems, errors, in addition to the timely completion of job tasks.

Flexible and able to work additional hours when needed.

Proficient in Horizon, Horizon Teller, IDO, Connections.

Critical thinking, must work well under stress and deadlines.

Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor at all times.

Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank products and services.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant use of computer screens and reading of reports.

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile.

Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear.

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials.

Ability to lift and/or move and carry up to 25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags).
