Assistant Branch Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

Minimum Years of Experience Required: 3-5 years management or assistant management experience in a wholesale or retail environment

About The Role

A successful Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in the effective and profitable management of branch. Works with Manager and Regional Manager to establish sales, profitability, staffing, inventory and other goals. Assist in hiring, developing and training of personnel. Familiarization with all company procedures, including but not limited to inventory management, cash management asset management, personnel management and accurately completes all administrative responsibilities. This position reports to the Branch Manager.

Job Description

• Develops new or additional sales in an effort to reach sales growth goal;
• Assists the manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing personnel in all aspects of branch operations;
• Assures the duties of other branch personnel are completed and accurate;
• Assists Branch Manager in managing and protecting Company assets;
• Assumes complete responsibility of the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager, or other
• Ability to communicate to a variety of people in different situations, always maintaining a professional demeanor;
• Purchasing of product through the use of PO requirements & generation;
• Ensures all essential retail tasks including merchandizing, store and warehouse organization and financial processes are followed;
• Maintains inventory accuracy through the use of daily cycle counts;
• Maintains the highest level of customer service in the industry;
• All other duties as assigned
