Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Boise, ID, responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in daily branch operations and member service. This role includes supervising and coaching branch team members, overseeing transaction accuracy, and ensuring compliance with credit union policies and applicable regulations. The Assistant Branch Manager helps drive branch performance by supporting sales and service initiatives, identifying member needs, and promoting appropriate products and services. Daily tasks include resolving member concerns, monitoring cash levels and security procedures, preparing reports, and assisting with scheduling and workflow management. The role also participates in community and member outreach activities that reflect Pioneer’s mission and values.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of one year of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involved extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work involves motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/ or individuals) becomes necessary.
Other Skills:This position requires excellent public relations skills, knowledge of Credit Union services and products, organizational skills to ensure the proper recording and dissemination of required information. Efficiency and accuracy, as well as professionalism in communication, is vital to the successful execution of this position.
