Job summary

The Illinois Association of School Administrators is seeking a coach/assistant to oversee athlete welfare, supervise workouts, practices, and games, and ensure eligible participation. Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school level or higher preferred.
• Playing experience at high school level or higher preferred.
• Ability to communicate (written/verbal), make decisions, resolve conflict, and work with staff, students and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure welfare and safety of athletes in the program.
• Supervise athletes’ workouts, practices, and games.
• Confirm all participants have completed required procedures before participation.
• Maintain equipment and ensure protection of program assets.
• Communicate with parents and stakeholders.
