North Reading Public Schools Athletics is seeking an Assistant Boys Lacrosse Coach for the Spring 2027 season in North Reading, Massachusetts. Responsibilities

• Distribute and collect equipment pre- and post-season.
• Enforce MIAA, CAL, and school rules and policies.
• Assist in equipment care and safety.
• Inspect facilities and report hazards.
• Assist with transportation if needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Varsity Coach or Athletics Director.

Job Description

North Reading Public Schools is seeking an AssistantBoys Lacrosse Coach for the Spring 2027 season. North Reading Public Schoolsis actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.

This position is anticipated to run from March2027 until completion of theSpring season.

• Develop seasonal, weekly, daily practice schedule
• Teach rules, skills, and game strategies of the sport
• Develop team rules and regulations regarding team discipline
• Attend and supervise team activities including awards presentations
• Distribute and collect equipment pre- and post- season
• Implement and enforce student handbook, MIAA, & CAL rules
• Assist in the storage, care, condition, and safety of practice and game equipment
• Inspect practice and playing facilities & report unsafe conditions
• Assist with transportation if appropriate (drive school supplied van)
• Other duties as requested by Varsity Coach, Director of Athletics & Student Activities, and/or their Designee
