Job Description

Worthington High School is seeking an Assistant Boys Golf Coach for the Spring 2027 season. This position will work collaboratively with the Head Coach to support the boys golf program, promote skill development, and encourage student-athlete growth.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Boys Golf Coach will assist in planning and leading practices, teaching golf fundamentals, and supporting student-athletes during competitions. The coach will help promote teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability, and a positive athletic environment while preparing student-athletes for continued growth and advancement in the golf program.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of golf rules, techniques, and strategies is preferred. Previous coaching or playing experience is beneficial but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, along with an interest in helping student-athletes grow academically, athletically, and socially.

Work Hours:

This position requires afternoon and evening availability for practices, golf meets, and other scheduled team activities throughout the spring season.
