Job summary

Credo Beauty in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant Boutique Manager to support the Boutique Manager in leading our Clean Beauty Experts and Leads to achieve sales, guest service and operational targets.

You'll develop a diverse team, deliver one-to-one coaching, and partner with EDU on training, product resources and KPI metrics while maintaining Credo Live for online clients and ensuring excellent guest experiences on the floor.

  • Lead and coach the sales team to achieve sales and guest service targets.

A Day inthe Life….
People Development
  • Prioritize people’sdevelopment by arranging ongoing one-to-one time with direct reports to review sales results,identifyingopportunities, and providingwell roundedfeedback.
  • Partner with theboutiquemanager to arrangenewhire onboardingscheduleand support as needed.
  • Strive to foster an environment where mutual feedback is encouraged.
  • Equip direct reports to understand and follow company policies and guidelines.
  • Partner with the internal education department (EDU) on training, productresourcesand KPI metrics.
  • Ensure clear and consistent communication with your managerregardingstore updates, successes, challenges and matters of importance
  • Communicate directly with store vendors, cross functional partners, and sales representatives.
  • Operate Credo Live to support our online clientele.
  • Partner with theboutiquemanager tomaintainbusiness strategies to grow theguestdatabase, increase storetrafficandoptimizesales.
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to the sales team.
Retail Operations
  • Maintain store visual standardsin accordance withCredoBeautymerchandising guidelines.
  • Partner with theboutiquemanager to manage and handle all issues that arise fromourguests(complaints, grievances, etc.)
  • Manage store inventory levels, record discrepancies,returnsand shrink with accuracy.
  • Train store team to understand and adhere to guidelines for store safety, incident reports, OSHA, and emergency action plans.
Project Management
  • Find creative ways to enhancethe guestexperience, associateengagementand overall store performance.
  • Identifychallenges and meet them with thoughtful and meaningful solutions.
  • Partner with theboutiquemanager in weekly operational duties (inventory management, return to warehouse,etc.).
  • Open to supportingad hocprojects as needed.
We would love to hear from you if you have…
  • 1 to 2 years in a retail leadership position (Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor).
  • Powerfulleadingskills and business orientation.
  • Guestmanagement skills andguestservice experience in retail storesisa plus.
  • Demonstrates and promotes beauty products on the spot (e.g., how to apply serums or face creams).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organization and planning skills.
  • Previousexperience with POS systems & payment systems.
  • The ability to think on your feet and react quickly to store needs.
  • Efficiency in Microsoft Suite, Microsoft 360, and using company hardware (iPads, PC/Mac laptop).
  • Promote passion and can-do attitude with your team daily.
  • Demonstrate understandingonwhat motivates others and alwaysleadby example.
  • Acts with integrity in words and actions while consistentlydemonstratingcare and compassion.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to stock shelves, stand/walk the sales floor for an entire shift, work in a fragrance filled environment & handle and apply cosmetics products toourguests-withor without accommodation.
  • Flexible availabilitytoworkdays/early evenings,weekendsand holidays.
