Job summary

3M is seeking an Assistant Boiler Operator in Minnesota to help support daily plant operations and ensure safe, efficient boiler and water chemistry management. The role offers exposure to a wide range of equipment and processes within a global company.

You will assist with water chemistry testing, boiler and chiller maintenance, and general housekeeping while coordinating with shift engineers on operation priorities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification is a High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • Must hold Minnesota Second Class A Engineers License.
  • Must possess a current and valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • Incumbent must possess and maintain a current State of Minnesota Second Class A Engineers License
  • Possess a current and valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work rotating shifts

Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.

  • The starting rate of pay for this position is $43.59. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
