Job summary

Rockcastle County Middle School in Mount Vernon, Kentucky seeks a Boys Assistant Basketball Coach to support the head coach, supervise athletes, and enforce school policies and KHSAA rules. Must be at least 21 and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities include assisting daily/long-range athletic activities, helping plan the program, guiding students in teamwork, and supervising athletes during travel. Must complete ABLE test, criminal background check, and CPR/First aid certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Successful completion of ABLE test, criminal background check, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in supervising and coaching.
• Follow all rules and policies of the school, school board & KHSAA.
• Assist in planning and conducting athletic activities.
• Supervise athletes during travel and activities.
