The Assistant Coach will help manage the program and promote it within the community, engaging with students and their families to improve athletic participation. They will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with IHSAA rules and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching baseball or similar sports.
• Familiarity with IHSAA and NFHS rules.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with organizing and conducting tryouts.
• Develop training programs and practice schedules.
• Monitor academic progress of student-athletes.

Understanding the fundamentals of the game

Education

Prior baseball coaching experience

IHSAA and NFHS Coaching Certification

First Aid and CPR certified
