Floyd's 99 Barbershop in Geneva, IL is seeking an Assistant Barbershop Leader to support shop operations, mentor barbers and stylists, and elevate the client experience behind the chair.

In this full-time, hands-on leadership role you will coach teams, assist with scheduling and hiring, and help grow a positive shop culture while delivering exceptional service; compensation includes a $63,000–$80,000 salary plus monthly bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Barber or Cosmetology License.
• 3+ years barbering or styling in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership experience or strong desire to grow into leadership.
• Experience with coaching, inventory, recruiting, scheduling, or operations advantageous.
• Willingness to work a full-time schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Leader in daily operations.
• Coach, mentor, and develop barbers and stylists.
• Maintain high standards for cuts, colors, shaves, and service.
• Lead behind the chair while delivering an exceptional client experience.
• Assist with recruiting and building a strong team.
• Assist with inventory, purchasing, and month-end tasks.

As an Assistant Barbershop Leader, you'll play an important role in supporting both the team and the business.

What You'll Bring

• Active Illinois Barber or Cosmetology License
• 3+ years of barbering or styling experience in a fast-paced environment
