Floyd's Barbershop is seeking an Assistant Barbershop Leader in Maryland to rally a team and sustain a vibrant shop culture while driving real results.

You’ll lead with energy, coach barbers and stylists, recruit talent, and help manage operations so the client experience remains exceptional. Expect a leadership path with growth opportunities across the country.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Barber or Cosmetology License (required).
• 3+ years behind the chair in a fast-paced shop.
• Leadership experience or desire to grow into leadership role.
• Experience with coaching, mentoring, inventory, recruiting, or business operations is a plus.
• Leads with positivity, accountability and passion.
• Team-first mindset and helping others succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support and inspire a team of barbers and stylists.
• Coach and mentor team members to build skills and confidence.
• Maintain high standards for cuts, colors, shaves, and customer service.
• Lead by example behind the chair while staying connected to client experience.
• Assist with recruiting and hiring great talent.
• Help manage inventory, purchase orders, and month-end tasks.
• Support scheduling, shop operations, and overall business performance.
• Build a positive culture people want to be part of.
• Collaborate with Shop Leader and district leadership to help the shop thrive.

You'll be a key leader in the shop, partnering closely with the Shop Leader to create an incredible experience for both clients and team members.
