Hilton Denver City Center in Denver seeks an Assistant Banquet Manager to lead banquets operations, ensuring quality, profitability and high guest satisfaction. You will supervise staff, review event orders, manage budgets and coordinate across departments to deliver exceptional service.

The role requires leadership, strong communication and planning skills, with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• One to two years of post high school education.
• Two to three years in a related position.
• Advanced knowledge of catering and food and beverage.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Excellent hearing, vision and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Banquet Manager in supervising daily operations of banquets.
• Meet with customers to review Banquet Event Orders and changes.
• Prepare and review banquet checks and process payments.
• Prepare daily gratuities and payroll reports.
• Monitor sanitation and maintenance of banquet areas.
• Review banquet event orders and set-ups.
• Set tables and ensure proper room setups and equipment.
• Communicate with guests and staff to meet expectations.
• Work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Review schedules and coordinate with teams to ensure quality events.
• Control banquet budget to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
