Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes - Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Baker to partner with the Baker in producing high-quality cakes according to our proprietary recipes, while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and efficient production flow.

The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training emphasizes recipe accuracy and adherence to NbC standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous bakery or foodservice experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must follow health and safety guidelines and NbC policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC recipes and cake production methods with precision.
• Operate mixers, ovens and other bakery equipment.
• Assist baker with preparing ingredients and placing pans in ovens.
• Maintain proper packaging, labeling and storage of baked cakes.
• Keep workstation clean, restock supplies and document logs.
• Show up on time and maintain attendance.
