Kneaders Bakery & Cafe in Salt Lake City is seeking a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker. You will join a dynamic team crafting artisan breads and pastries from honest ingredients. The role offers opportunities for growth in bakery operations and leadership within Kneaders’ baking team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, customer service, and community, with shifts starting around 11 am to 7 pm and a Sunday shift as needed. Must be 18+ and ready to train in a bustling bakery.

Formación

• Proven track record of baking breads and pastries or willingness to train.
• Attention to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handling and sanitation.
• Requires ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker. We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, community & as we are! In the role of Assistant Bread Baker, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team who will offer a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, & seasonal breads all baked with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Assistant Bread Baker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• Proven track record of demonstrating superhero abilities in the kitchen from following recipes to paying close attention to additional details to create one-of-a-kind breads. Lifting large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies all weighing 50 lbs. or more.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
• The ability to work through change & be able to be flexible all while keeping a close eye on what's cooking!
• The schedule availability to work afternoons/nights. Bread Baking shifts start around 11 am - 7 pm, plus a shift on Sunday (when the store is closed). During holiday seasons the Bread Baking team schedule may flex into overnight shifts too

A successful Assistant Bread Baker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• Large-scale baking/pastry experience (preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right person!)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus!
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
