Job Description

Assistant Automotive Store Manager

This full-time, hourly position involves serving as a key holder and acting as the manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include managing store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, assisting with sales and inventory, and supporting team members to meet performance goals. The role requires effective communication, leadership, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Schedule guest appointments to optimize technician efficiency.
2. Assist in achieving sales targets by promoting products and services.
3. Address guest needs regarding sales, service, and complaints.
4. Build and maintain guest relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Support technicians in communicating repair needs.
6. Maintain store cleanliness and readiness to standards.
7. Oversee inventory management, including parts and tire stock.
8. Guide and oversee technicians, assisting with services as needed.
9. Organize workflow to utilize technician skills efficiently.
10. Follow company policies, safety, and environmental standards.
11. Perform store manager duties as required.
12. Complete other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of automotive and sales experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work overhead.
• Strong communication skills and basic math proficiency.
• Customer and team-focused mindset.
• Background checks as per company policy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automotive State Inspector License.
• ASE Certifications.
• Proven sales experience in automotive services.
• Leadership experience.
