Job summary

S&S Activewear in McDonough, GA is seeking an Assistant Automation Maintenance Technician (Mon-Fri, 2pm-10:30pm). This role supports maintenance of robotic systems, P1200 robots, pop pick stations, and induction/decant gear in a fast-paced warehouse.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 6 months maintenance experience, and familiarity with mechanical and electrical tools. Overtime and safety training are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate.
• 6 months experience in a similar maintenance position.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Understanding of mechanical tools and some electrical tools.
• Ability to read and understand documents written in English.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Follow detailed instructions and work overtime when required.
• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on automated equipment as scheduled.
• Carry out inspections of robotic and facilities equipment.
• Diagnose and repair automation equipment not functioning properly.
• Document maintenance and repair activities daily.
• Manage spare parts inventory usage and accuracy.
• Coordinate with operations to maximize uptime.
• Ensure safety and PPE compliance.
