Assistant Automation Maintenance Technician (Onsite)

Role Responsibilities

Assist with equipment maintenance, repairs, and reporting for automation systems including Robotic P1200’s, Pop Pick Stations, and Induction/Decant equipment. Maintain spare parts inventory, troubleshoot and test equipment to improve uptime, and ensure safety practices are followed.

Compensation & Schedule

$23.18/hour, Monday-Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, onsite at 2 Ontelaunee Drive, Reading, PA.

Key Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• Diagnose and repair automation equipment
• Document maintenance activities
• Manage spare parts inventory
• Coordinate with operations to ensure equipment availability
• Operate warehouse equipment safely
• Assist with troubleshooting and process improvements
• Follow safety protocols and complete safety training

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience in maintenance roles
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance skills
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical tools
• Ability to read English documents
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible, team-oriented, and willing to work overtime and holidays
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus

Physical & Work Environment

Stand and walk for long periods, perform manual tasks involving lifting and handling items up to 50 lbs, and work in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels. Must adapt to high-volume, fast-paced settings.
