The Attorney General is the State’s principal consumer advocate working to keep utility customer’s rate reasonable and affordable. The successful candidate will primarily advocate for utility customers in proceedings before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, including researching, analyzing, and presenting complex financial and legal information at trial and through briefing.**Essential Functions*** Researching and reviewing complex data produced by sophisticated companies and subject matter experts* Prepare written recommendations based on research* Assist with discovery on various cases* Communicating with internal and external stakeholders* Providing assistance with litigation before the Corporation Commission or other venues* Work with internal and external subject matter experts to develop recommendations* Minor travel is expected* Other duties as assigned**Required Qualifications**:A qualified candidate must be a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma or eligible to sit for the bar exam by summer 2026. Candidate must be comfortable with learning and practicing trial skills. * Excellent writing and oral communication skills;* Demonstrate strong, efficient research and analytical skills;* Strong time management and organizational skills;* Capable of working concurrently on multiple projects;* Precision in attention to detail;* Ability to work independently and collaboratively; and* Commitment to being client-focused and responsive to the client.
