Job summary

Demonstrated ability to analyze and manage complex enforcement cases; well-developed oral and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with state/federal officials, a diverse workforce, and the public.

Responsibilities

Analyze, investigate, and prosecute suspected violations of consumer protection statutes regulating products including liquid nicotine and nicotine vapor products, kratom, and THC.
Coordinate investigations with other state and local law enforcement agencies.
Advise staff on legal issues concerning the Liquid Nicotine and Nicotine Vapor Product Directory and its application to manufacturers and products.
Draft official opinions, review proposed legislation, and collaborate with counterparts in other agencies.
