Job summary

Washington State Attorney General's Office seeks an attorney to investigate and prosecute financial crimes from its downtown Seattle office. You will collaborate with senior investigators and state agencies, travel for hearings, and manage a full range of criminal prosecutions.

The role requires a law degree from an ABA-accredited school, Washington license (or pending), and strong trial, writing, and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Washington State or pursuing admission.
• Strong litigation skills and ability to prosecute a full range of crimes.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute financial crimes and wage theft, elder fraud, and complex fraud.
• Work closely with AGO investigators and state/federal law enforcement partners.
• Appear in court across Washington and travel as needed for hearings and trials.
• Contribute to a supportive, collaborative legal team and mentor junior staff.
