Job Description

The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking an Assistant Attorney General in the Transportation Unit of the Executive Agencies Section. The successful candidate's primary duties include representing the Ohio Department of Transportation in appropriation proceedings throughout Ohio, and providing advice on other legal issues. Real estate, land use/zoning or environmental experience is preferred but not required. The selected candidate must possess excellent written and oral advocacy skills. Previous litigation experience is preferred but not required. This position will work a hybrid schedule and is headquartered in the Columbus office. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. Some travel within the state will be required at times.
