Recruitment Range: $91,249 - $106,280

The attorney in this position will act as defense counsel in medium to complex State funded workers' compensation claims administered by NC State Agencies, Boards and Commissions, pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 97-1, et. seq., in the N. C. Industrial Commission, state and federal courts. This attorney will also represent the State in criminal appeals. The attorney may be asked to speak at conferences and teach workshops for the client upon request.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities / Management Preferences

Management prefers substantial experience in workers' compensation litigation or significant experience in civil litigation.
