The Assistant Athletic Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Baltimore area, supporting Morgan State University’s student-athletes and athletic programs. This position assists with daily evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, including coordinating injury prevention programs and monitoring recovery plans. The role includes preparing student-athletes for practices and competitions, maintaining accurate medical and rehabilitation records, and collaborating with coaches, strength and conditioning staff, and healthcare providers to optimize athlete health and performance. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will also help ensure compliance with University, conference, and national athletic training standards and participate in education and outreach on health, safety, and wellness for student-athletes.
