Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking candidates to fill two (2) Assistant Athletic Trainer positions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Physical effort required for practice/game preparation and during emergency care management and rehabilitation. These positions are full time, 12 month positions. Full Penn State benefit package included with this position.
If filled as Athletic Trainer - Advanced Professional, this position requires: Master's Degree 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted. Required Certifications: Licensed Athletic Trainer - Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine, Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - National Athletic Trainers Association, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification - American Red Cross, American Heart Association or other accredited organization.
If filled as Athletic Trainer - Intermediate Professional, this position requires: Bachelor's Degree 1+ years of relevant experience. Required Certifications: AED Certification, CPR Certification, Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Licensed Athletic Trainer.
This position requires the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. A valid driver’s license and successful motor vehicle records check are also required.
The salary range for this position is $42,100.00 - $67,300.00.
