Join to apply for the Assistant Athletic Trainer role at Avila University.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Athletics and Head Athletic Trainer. The role involves assisting in all aspects of athletic training, including time management, budgeting, and facility management.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services for intercollegiate sports, including injury evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation supervision.
• Pre-practice and game preparations, and referral of student-athletes to physicians.
• Maintain computerized medical records and document athletic training needs.
• Assist with operations of athletic training facilities, including ordering and inventory management.
• Cover practices, games (home and away), and postseason competitions.
• Familiarize with NAIA and KCAC policies, and participate in training and educational opportunities.

Qualifications

• Multilingual skills highly preferred.
