Young World Physical Education is looking for an Assistant Athletic Coach for Hidden River Middle School. Qualifications

• Valid First Aid/CPR card prior to assuming any coaching responsibilities.
• Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint clearance.
• HIV/HBV training within 60 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and organizing practices and competitions.
• Teach sportsmanship and cooperation to the team.
• Ensure compliance with district policies and regulations.

Skills

Coaching techniques for developing student athletes

Knowledge of sport rules and regulations

Effective communication skills

Education

Previous coaching experience in the assigned sport

Previous teaching experience at the same level
