Team Leaders

Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking two motivated individuals as Team Leaders within the School’s pre-doctoral clinic model. The 12‑month, non‑tenure Clinician Educator track appointments will work with a team of dedicated faculty who are building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education in the Department of General Dentistry.

Position Responsibilities

• Serve as a Team Leader in the school’s comprehensive team‑based practice model and support the delivery of the curriculum in preclinical courses and labs.
• Manage students administratively within an assigned team and oversee the clinical care of their patient families as the students matriculate toward graduation.
• Participate in scholarly activity and service as part of the position responsibilities.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree.
• Documented successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination or the Integrated National Board Dental Examination prior to hire.
• Must possess or obtain and maintain an unrestricted Nebraska Dental License in the category for which eligible, along with subsequent credentialing from applicable third‑party payer systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a collegial, interdisciplinary environment.

Preferred

• Private practice experience (preferred but not mandatory).
