Qualifications

• Doctoral degree conferred by August 1, 2027.
• Experience teaching online asynchronous and/or in-person environments.
• Scholarly research and teaching that incorporates inclusive pedagogical approaches.
• Commitment to creating high-quality learning environments that respect diverse perspectives.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct publishable research and pursue external funding.

Responsibilities

• Teach approximately two courses per semester across the Department's BSW, in-person MSW, and online MSW programs.
• Contribute to development of the Department's BSW, MSW, and emerging doctoral programs; engage interdisciplinary initiatives across CCPA and Binghamton University.
• Mentor students in research and scholarship as the doctoral program develops.
• Establish and sustain an active program of scholarship with strong potential for external funding (e.g., NIH, HRSA, ACF, DoD, foundations).
