Job summary

Position Overview

The Cyber & Intelligence Operations (CIO) Department seeks a career-track faculty member for the Intelligence & Information Operations degree program. The role involves teaching undergraduate courses on-campus and online, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. The department values candidates with expertise in Information Operations, cybersecurity, intelligence, and applied AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses using multiple delivery formats (on-campus and online).
• Engage students in active learning, class participation, and project-based assignments.
• Develop syllabi, course materials, lectures, and assignments.
• Advise and mentor students on career readiness and professional development.
• Collaborate across disciplines and with community/business partners.
• Contribute to ENGR and university service, including committee participation and student mentoring.
• Participate in outreach to local communities, including government, business, and nonprofits.

Minimum Qualifications

• M.S. in Information Warfare, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, National Security, or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience in IO, PSYOP, deception/counter-intelligence, computational propaganda, virtual persona/bot management, applied agentic/generative AI.
• Previous teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a relevant field.

Additional Experience

• Experience with innovative online teaching methods.
• Professional experience in the Intelligence Community (IC).
• DoD or IC security clearance.

Tenure & Employment Details

• Career-Track (CT) Faculty.
