Bellarmine University in Louisville invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. The position is a 12-month faculty role, with potential for tenure-track consideration, at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

The successful candidate will teach in the DPT curriculum, advise students, establish a robust research agenda, and contribute to accreditation and program assessment efforts. Licensure in Kentucky is expected or eligible.

Formación

• Terminal degree or near-completion with expected graduation within a year.
• Eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Kentucky.

Responsabilidades

• Teach courses in the DPT curriculum using evidence-informed teaching methods.
• Advise and mentor students on academic progress and professional development.
• Establish and maintain an active research agenda involving students.
• Disseminate peer-reviewed scholarly work.
• Serve on departmental and university committees.
• Contribute to program assessment, planning, and accreditation efforts.
• Participate in student recruitment, admissions, and program promotion.
• Engage in professional service with organizations such as the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Maintain clinical competence and, where applicable, active clinical practice.
• Integrate current clinical expertise into teaching and mentoring.
