The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine invites applications for a new tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. We seek talented, ambitious individuals from diverse scientific backgrounds to establish leading-edge research programs. Candidates with expertise in developing and implementing approaches that interface with living systems through novel materials and algorithms, microfluidics, controlled force sensing and actuation, and related tools for probing and controlling biomolecular systems, cells, and tissues are encouraged to apply.
The annual base salary range is $150,000 - $200,000. USC considers various factors when extending an employment offer, including the scope of responsibilities, work experience, education, key skills, internal equity, legal considerations, grant funding, and market conditions.
