Job Summary/Basic Function

The Department of Economics and Finance at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position (#113090) in Finance at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1, 2026.

  • Professional experience in financial planning or wealth management.
  • Holding designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or NABE Certified Business Economist (CBE®).
  • Financial analytics and planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Morningstar) experience.
  • Data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python) experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to student engagement and experiential learning.
