Job summary

The University of Akron School of Counseling seeks a faculty member with a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy to contribute to graduate education and supervision. The successful candidate will engage in instruction, clinical supervision, and scholarly activities with MFT students, and will align with COAMFTE CACREP standards in the program.

ABD will be considered with the doctorate conferred by start date; licensure or eligibility as an IMFT/IMFT-S in Ohio is required or anticipated.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Licensed or license eligible as an Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) or IMFT-S in Ohio.
• ABD will be considered but doctorate must be conferred prior to start date.
• Experience with MFT graduate students in instruction, clinical supervision, or scholarly activities.
