The College of Education and Human Service Professions and the Department of Applied Human Sciences seek an excellent faculty in Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences committed to anti-racist pedagogy and social justice. This is a tenure track position, either Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank. The salary range for this position will be $56,432 - 67,718 based on experience. Scholarship that advances the field, including research and publication, is required.

Applicants for the position of Associate Professor must meet the requirements above and possess a distinguished record of academic achievement (scholarly research or other creative work, teaching, and service) that satisfies the criteria for Associate Professor status in the College of Education and Human Service Professions at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
The Department of Applied Human Sciences is the home to multiple undergraduate degree programs: Childhood Nature Studies, Outdoor Learning and Recreation, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences, Physical Education Teacher Education, and Public Health. The curriculum of the degree programs reflects the accreditation standards of the various disciplines. Students graduate from these degree programs with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree. There are currently over 500 majors enrolled in the degree programs offered by the department. The students in the programs come from Minnesota, Wisconsin, across the Midwest and nationally and internationally. Our department strongly supports international educational opportunities and interdisciplinary work.
