The Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at the University of Utah invites applications for a full-time, 1.0 FTE, (Clinical) Track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor, depending on experience. This faculty member will teach in the Hybrid Pathway of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program and serve as Associate Director of Clinical Education (ADCE). This position is remote, though periodic travel to Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as travel for clinical education site visits, is required.
Responsibilities:
Course Instruction: Delivering high-quality education in a hybrid format. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in online/hybrid teaching and innovative instructional strategies. Faculty are expected to demonstrate content expertise, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and contribute to an innovative learning environment.
Clinical Education Oversight: Assisting in the coordination and administration of clinical education. Responsibilities include:

The Department is home to three different degree offerings (a DPT Program with 3 pathways, a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, a MAT Program) and post-professional Physical Therapy Residencies. The Department focuses on health care provider education and rehabilitation research and has successful collaborations across the University to support these missions.
