Teaching adults/older adults
Teaching methodology
Curriculum development
Assessment and evaluation
Or willingness to acquire these skills within the first year of appointment
Evidence of scholarship or potential to build a record of scholarship needed for promotion, including:
Peer-reviewed publications
Original research
Presentations at local or national conferences
Grant writing or program development
Ongoing scholarly or creative activities
Demonstrated experience with simulation or innovative teaching modalities.
Professional membership and service in nursing or related organizations.
Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
