Jackson State University invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor of Management in the Department of Business Administration. The candidate will teach undergraduate and/or graduate management courses, develop syllabi, and deliver instruction across in-person, hybrid, and online formats.

Advising, committee service, and accreditation activities are expected. The ideal candidate holds a doctorate in management or related field, with a strong research agenda and experience

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Management or related field; ABD candidates nearing completion considered.
• Research agenda connecting management theory with workplace practice.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making including AI tools in management education.
• Ability to develop experiential learning, including case competitions, consulting projects, and partnerships with employers.
• Eligible for graduate faculty status to teach at graduate/doctoral levels.
• Professional industry experience strongly preferred.
• College-level teaching experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in online and hybrid course delivery.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PMP) are advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in management (e.g., principles, OB, HR, strategic management).
• Develop, manage, and maintain course syllabi aligned with standards.
• Plan lectures, discussions, assignments, and assessments to meet learning goals.
• Deliver instruction in-person, hybrid, and online formats.
• Provide academic advising and mentoring to students; maintain records.
• Participate in program assessment, accreditation activities, and ongoing improvement.
• Serve on department and college committees; perform duties as assigned by Chair and Dean.
