The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at UC San Diego seeks to expand its Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (MFM) Division by recruiting an OB/GYN‑MFM physician committed to excellence in clinical care, patient safety, education, and research. The candidate will practice clinical MFM, teach students, train residents and fellows, mentor research projects, and participate in administrative functions of the division, department, and university.
The applicant will provide inpatient and outpatient services at both UCSD campuses (Hillcrest Medical Center and Jacobs Medical Center) and consultative services for two regional healthcare systems.
Candidates interested in the full scope of MFM—including labor and delivery, ultrasound, and inpatient/outpatient care for medically complex obstetric patients—are encouraged to apply. Applicants with interests in innovative MFM approaches, trainee education and mentorship, community outreach, expansion of clinical services to neighboring communities, and additional focus areas within MFM such as fetal medicine or genetics are also welcome.
